Last night I went to see one of the greatest rock bands in existence…RUSH! Yes.....despite many nay-sayers out there….they can still play incredibly well. Geddy Lee may not be able to hit those hit notes like he did in ’75, but he sure can “slappa da bass, mon!”

 Moving sucks!
There….I said it! ‘Lest any of you out there in internet land think otherwise, let me say it for you in other words….  Hello everyone! I just flew in from Florida and “Boy, are my arms tired!“ (insert snare drum sound effect here)
This past week, the family and I decided to vacation to ever sunny Florida and hit such touristy hot spots as Universal Studios. The kids loved it! Rides, attractions, food… the place had it all! BUT…. Let’s look at it from the cynical point of view of the guy payin’ for the whole she-bang! That’d be ME for the inattentive folks out there.  Wow! Talk about time moving at a different pace! Wasn’t it just last week we were all gleefully ripping off the wrappings of all our way cool holiday score? Why, it even seems as early as yesterday that we had 3 feet of snow on the ground causing us all misery and despair. Well…I guess on that second part, it really was yesterday….all hail the wonderful winters of Wisconsin!
 Thanksgiving!
Can any of us out there really argue the point that this most belly filling holiday is the greatest ever? I mean…Turkey, ham, stuffing…all that food and only one stomach to put it in. |
